01Acceptance

By accessing or using oneway.guide (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02What We Provide

oneway.guide generates personalized, AI-authored travel guides based on the city, dates, and preferences you provide. Guides are delivered as a PDF by email and are accessible via your dashboard.

03Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a guide. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

04Pricing & Payment

A single guide costs $4.99 USD. The 3-guide bundle costs $9.99 USD. Prices are shown in USD and processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Guide credits do not expire.

05Digital Delivery & Consumer Withdrawal

Because each guide is a personalized digital product, generation begins immediately after payment. By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that your statutory right of withdrawal (where applicable, including under EU consumer law) is waived once generation has started.

06Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds once a guide has been generated and delivered.

Each guide is a personalized, AI-generated digital product made on demand for the specific city, dates, and preferences you supply, and as such is non-returnable.

We will, however, refund or regenerate your guide free of charge in the following cases:

  • Generation fails and no guide is delivered.
  • The guide is produced for the wrong city or wrong travel dates because of a system error on our side.
  • The PDF is corrupted, unreadable, or cannot be delivered to your email after reasonable attempts.
  • You were double-charged for the same purchase.

Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@oneway.guide with your order email and a description of the issue. We review each request individually and respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

Unused guide credits (from the 3-guide bundle) can be refunded pro rata within 14 days of purchase if no guide in the bundle has been generated. Once any credit in a bundle has been spent, the bundle is considered delivered.

07AI Content Disclaimer

Guides are generated by AI using up-to-date inputs at the time of creation, but travel information changes constantly. Venue hours, prices, availability, visa rules, and local conditions may differ from what your guide describes. You are responsible for verifying critical details (bookings, entry requirements, dietary suitability, safety information) before relying on them. oneway.guide is not a substitute for professional travel, medical, legal, or financial advice.

08Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense generated guides commercially.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the API, rate limits, or checkout.
  • Use the Service for unlawful activity or to harass others.
  • Share or attempt to share a single account with multiple people.

09Intellectual Property

The oneway.guide name, brand, design, and codebase are owned by us. The guide content generated for you is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may print it, share it privately with travel companions, and keep it indefinitely. You may not sell it, publish it, or pass it off as your own work.

10Third-Party Services

We use Stripe (payments), Google Cloud Vertex AI (guide generation), Google Places (venue photos and maps), and Firebase (authentication). Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms where relevant.

11Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, oneway.guide is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of a guide, including but not limited to missed flights, closed venues, travel disruptions, or decisions made based on guide content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the guide in question.

12Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or abuse the Service. You may delete your account at any time by emailing us; this removes your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

13Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
